Ant Risdon recounts his experiences flying in one of the most remote and challenging environments on Earth — Antarctica. A member of the Portway Group, Ant flew aircraft G-DINA for 14 years, supporting operations in extreme conditions.
This talk offers a rare glimpse into the realities of polar aviation, including navigation, weather challenges, and the unique demands placed on pilots and aircraft alike.
The LAA Shobdon Strut meet at Shobdon every 2nd Thursday of the month.
